About Evan
Evan Shelline enlisted in the U.S. Navy after September 11, 2001. He completed BUD/S, became a Navy SEAL, and spent about a decade deployed around the world, earning combat decorations along the way.
After the Navy, he moved into maritime security and counter-piracy work, directing more than 60 vessel protection operations without a single security incident. That work taught the lesson he still leads by: plan carefully, make roles clear, and do the small things right every time.
Today Evan lives and works in metro Detroit. He is a father of four, a member of his local VFW post, and chair of the Veteran Advisory Committee at Lily Hospice.

Evan founded VETTED to serve veterans in two ways. The company provides VA-authorized in-home care for veterans across Oakland, Macomb and Wayne counties, and it competes for federal contracts as a service-disabled veteran-owned prime contractor, teaming with other veteran-owned businesses first.
